Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.

There is no better resource than an experienced and active member.
The road ahead is always easier with a map, a compass and a leader. But, you must do the walking. Across the years, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. continues to inspire, educate, inform and serve another generation of men for life.

The most important part of Alpha is its membership. Thousands of Alpha men of action have made history in both the world and the local community.

If you have the time, treasure and talent to become a worthy part of our dear Fraternity, we look forward to a lasting brotherhood.

There is no better printed resource than the history book. Originally published in 1929 and continually updated every few years, well read members compete in the John Hope Franklin Collegiate Scholars Bowl to see who knows their Alpha history best. With degrees from Fisk, Yale, Harvard and Wilberforce in hand; Bro. Charles H. Wesley literally wrote the book and revised it until 1972. He also served as National Historian for seven decades, and as the five-term 14th General President.

"Think Alpha  Phi Alpha. Talk Alpha Phi Alpha. Promote Alpha Phi Alpha and labor for the broad principles of idealism for which Alpha Phi Alpha was created, so that humanity shall look on us as a body worthwhile."
Dr. Henry Dickason
5th General President
